So I have not been posting on a regular basis. And once again, I am going to attempt to change that. So, here is some randomness then a little knitting to get me back into the swing of things.
1. Prog Rock. Don't know why, but I have been obsessed with Prog Rock lately. Yes, Rush Genesis, Asia, have all been on my ipod playlist daily for the last few weeks. Something to do with the bass riffs. ??
2. Movie Marathon. Two weeks ago, I saw Chronicles of Narnia, Sex and the City and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in a triple header. This is especially significant, as "Indy" pushed me over my usual 3 movie a year quota. (Having also seen Ironman in early May). Will I ever do a triple header again? Doubtful. The likelihood that there are three movies in the theater that I want to see at the same time is slim, and that aside, I don't know that my ass can take it again.
3. Yarn Shopping. I am not doing much of that these days. The yarn shops here in Orlando are less than thrilling, and I am getting over to Tampa about once a month, and to Jacksonville even less. This is both a good and bad thing. Good, because I am using up my stash, which is considerable, and bad because I miss being among my people.
On the needles now?
Socks - Jitterbug in Gauguin, with ribbing, heel & toe in a semi solid jitterbug color-way.
Juno- All that remains is the cable collar. I just cant seem to get it done. Perhaps this weekend, I will get the thing finished.
