I recently purchased Simply Baroque II, Bach and Boccherini by Yo-Yo Ma and Tom Koopman on itunes. Track 7, Schafe konnen sicher wieden is by far my favorite cantata on this album, and I found myself playing it over and over again.
Now, on my ipod, I can't see the full song title, so all that I saw was the German title. And being the very poor reader of German that I am. I googled the track name, and learned the English translation was Sheep may safely graze. How ironic that I instinctively gravitated to the cantata most appropriate for spinners and knitters.
